These photos represents part of the sequence of the deployment and assembly of the surfaces that make up the portable maternity room that CIFP Valentin Paz Andrade creates for Health for Africa using a container.
The transportable and deployable installation of the 40 meters container will be equipped with the necessary technology to attend to pregnant women who often have to travel hundreds of kilometers to attend prenatal checkups or give birth.

This project is part of HfA’s plan to contribute to improve the health conditions of the most vulnerable fractions of the population, such as pregnant women.
Although the main health indicators have improved in Senegal, there is a significant part of the population that does not have access to basic health services.
The high rate of maternal and infant mortality and the difficulties of the health system to meet the needs of the population justify HfA projects in favor of especially vulnerable groups such as pregnant women.

We are grateful for this incredible work and contribution to women in Senegal by the Valentin Paz Andrade Integrated Vocational Training Center, who demonstrate the strength of civil society when we work together.

We will keep you informed!
